Cakes by Gina was founded by Gina who was born and raised until her high school years in the Dominican Republic. After moving to the United States, Gina finished her schooling and embarked on her passion for creating cakes. Her unique and intricate designers can be attributed to her love for baking and architecture. Although Gina discovered these two passions, it was not until she designed the cake of her dreams, her own wedding cake, that she realized she wanted to launch Cakes by Gina in 1999.

Bavarian Cakes
Founded by Elaine Potter, Bavarian Cakes was established in 2005. Before starting her business, Elaine traveled the world with her husband and two children then finally settled in Singapore where she taught Home Economics at the American school. Before moving back to the States, she moved two more times to Tehran and Iran where she also taught Home Economics. Her love for cakes then begin to flourish as she took cake decorating lessons in 1975 and then even began teaching a class not long after. Her teaching once again followed her along her travels from Houston to Tomball and then back to Houston. Elaine then purchased the Bavarian Bakery recipe, changed the name of her business and bought the equipment. She is now settled in Houston, Texas and provides many different cakes for all different sorts of occasions.
